The Team

A team of diverse individuals brought together to achive a common goal - building businesses that last and serve a greater good.

Amelia Lee

Managing Partner

Amelia was first captivated by the world of small businesses while pursuing her MBA at Harvard Business School. She co-founded Potter Capital to apply her skills and experience to what she believes is a vital segment of the Singaporean economy that ought to get more attention - SMEs.

Prior to Potter Capital, Amelia was with the Capital Markets Team at DBS Bank, where she advised companies across a wide variety of industries on strategic alternatives and equity financing.

Amelia received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA in Accounting from the National University of Singapore, where she also part of the University Scholars Programme.

Aileen Seah

Managing Partner

After more than a decade of working with SME’s and startups during her time at Enterprise Singapore (then-SPRING Singapore), Aileen co-founded Potter Capital to address the missed opportunities of great Singaporean SME’s closing down due to a lack of succession options.

During her time at Enterprise Singapore, Aileen worked closely with SME’s in the Business Services sector to chart and support their growth plans. She also worked with large corporates to develop their corporate innovation plans to engage startups.

Aileen holds a BBM & BAcc (double degree in business management and accountancy) from the Singapore Management University where she was a Lee Kong Chian Scholar.

Goh Xin Ying

Managing Partner

As the Head of Business Development & Operations at Funding societies, Xin Ying saw how harnessing the power of data could help create financial opportunities for SME’s that would otherwise go unfunded. Hence, Xin Ying joined Potter Capital to make data-driven decisions at the heart of a traditional business.

Prior to Funding Societies, Xin Ying was a fund management consultant based in Hong Kong and Shanghai. She started her career at DBS Bank in the Management Associate Programme.

Xin Ying is a Chartered Accountant and holds a BBM & BAcc (double degree in business management and accountancy) from the Singapore Management University.
